Charles G. Marchese, D.P.M.

Dr. Charles Marchese completed his surgical training at New York Methodist Hospital in 1989 in forefoot reconstruction and diabetic foot care.  He is board certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.  He was a graduate of New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Foot Clinics of New York.

Dr. Marchese is on staff and affiliated with the following:

  • Department of Surgery at New York Methodist Hospital

  • Podiatric Service at the V.A.M.C. Brooklyn

  • Division of Podiatric Surgery at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Brooklyn

He is also the Director of the Division of Podiatric Surgery at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Brooklyn, a position he has held since 1993.  He is involved in training residents at both New York Methodist Hospital and the V.A.M.C. Brooklyn.

Dr. Marchese has been in private practice since 1989 in the office he started and constructed.  He chose his location on Avenue U because it was in a neighborhood he was born in and it allowed him to develop the type of family practice he wanted.

He specializes in medical and surgical treatemnt of all foot and ankle problems with a special interest in the following:

  • Forefoot Corrective Surgery

  • Diabetic Foot Care

  • Wound Care

  • Pediatric Foot Problems

  • Arthritic Disorders

  • Foot Trauma and Injuries

Dr. Marchese is available for house calls, in-office and hospital consultations.  In addition to the primary office, Dr. Marchese has established a Staten Island facility opened in 1997.
